MICHAEL LOFTUS
Founder/Advisor
In 2010, after years climbing the corporate ladder — managing national sales and marketing teams for multibillion-dollar financial institutions and working alongside some of the country's top money management firms — Michael walked away from the security of a corner office to build something better. Something personal.
Loftus Wealth Strategies was born from a simple but powerful belief: that people deserve a wealth manager who actually knows their name, understands their story, and has the experience to guide them through every chapter of it.
With over 30 years in business and 25 in the financial industry, Michael brings serious depth to every client relationship. But what sets him apart isn't his résumé — it's his relentless commitment to being present. When long-term clients began making Florida their permanent home, Michael didn't just send emails. He opened a satellite office in Ponte Vedra in 2022 so he could show up in person. That's just how he operates.
Today, Loftus Wealth serves clients across Delaware, Florida, Eastern PA, NJ, MD, Northern VA, and beyond — a reflection of the trust clients place in Michael wherever life takes them.
At home in Bethany Beach, Michael's world is just as full. His wife Stacie — who built and ran Seaquels, a beloved high-end consignment shop — recently joined the Loftus Wealth team, bringing her entrepreneurial spirit to scheduling and events. Their son Padraig, a Villanova grad, is carving out his own path in financial services. Daughter Claire channels her Flagler College education into Loftus Wealth's social media and branding while pursuing her art career. And youngest daughter Brighid earned her degree from the University of Arizona in 2025.
Like his father and son before him, Michael is a proud Villanova alum — and a devoted Wildcats fan who'll drive two hours each way for a home game without thinking twice. When he's not watching Nova hoops, you'll find him on the golf course, out on the water, or behind a camera lens.
Michael's heart is never far from a cause close to home. After losing his father, Jim, to Alzheimer's disease in 2013, he channeled his grief into action — founding the Athletes Against Alzheimer's 5K in Bethany Beach in 2015. To date, the race has raised over $100,000 for research.
